It's a good time to be a Bulldog-!

Parents, Staff, and School Community,
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of one of our students. We extend our deepest condolences to the student’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and everyone who knew and cared for him.
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, the district will not be sharing additional details about the circumstances of the student’s death. We ask our school community to extend that same privacy and compassion to the family during this difficult time.
We recognize that this news may be upsetting and that students and adults may respond in different ways. Our school has made counseling and support services available to students and staff who may need assistance. Parents and guardians are encouraged to check in with their children, listen to concerns, and remind them that it is okay to ask for help.
If your child is struggling emotionally or you have concerns about his/her well-being, please contact high school counselor, Candice Gatz. Additional counseling and resources are also available.
We will continue to support our students and staff while respecting the needs and wishes of the student’s family. Please rely on official school communications for updates and avoid sharing unverified information or speculation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and with all members of our school community affected by this loss. We will continue to care for one another and provide support during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
Jeff Pruitt
Superintendent

Meeker is so excited to be a part of the new Literacy Initiative!!!
Every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader. 📚
We're proud to launch the Oklahoma Literacy Initiative (OLI), a statewide effort to strengthen early literacy through the Science of Reading. The inaugural pilot will partner with 10 school districts across Oklahoma, investing in educators, empowering students, and building a stronger workforce for tomorrow. 🙌🚀🌟

Please spread the word! I know we will have some NEW students join our MES Bulldog Team! These are the dates to come see us.
*Students that were MES Bulldogs this past school year and will be returning to MES this fall - if you did not submit the enrollment packet in April or May - these dates are for you too!!! Parents have to update the enrollment packets each year to return the following year.
**Please email Mrs. Flowers if you have questions about teacher requests. The absolute deadline for teacher requests is July 1st. If you email and do not receive a response in 24 school hours, call the school and leave a voicemail at 405-788-4540 ext 201. SPAM likes to eat some emails and hide them from time to time.
***MMS and MHS will not have enrollment packets like MES. They are using an online platform to enroll new students and update returning students. For questions about MMS or MHS, email Tammy Hall at thall@meeker.k12.ok.us.

Attention Seniors: Transcripts are ready for pick-up. You can pick them up at the High School office Monday thru Thursday from 9-3.
