Thank you parents for trusting us with your children. We are enjoying every minute of our summer fitness nutrition reading camp!
Day 2 of our Summer Reading/Fitness program achieved remarkable success. Students broadened their knowledge of Oklahoma, interacted with animals at the petting zoo, enjoyed delectable snacks, and read captivating books. Additionally, they learned the YMCA song and signed it with Myka Thorpe of the Potawatomi Fire Pom Squad.
Shawnee Mills donated a pancake/waffle or blueberry muffin mix for each student at the camp.

Physicals will be this Thursday June 13th from 4:00-6:00 at the High School in the Main Hallway cost is $20. A physical is required for all athletes to be eligible to participate in activities. Parents will also need to complete all RankOne forms at https://www.rankone.com/Parent/Parent. This should be done by Thursday as well.
ATTENTION 2024 Graduates:
Transcripts and diplomas are ready. You can pick them up in the HS office Monday through Thursday 9-3.

The Meeker Public Library will provide FREE summer meals for ALL kids ages 1-18 from June 3rd-August 8th. This is not based on income and is open to ALL families.
• What will the boxes (meals) consist of? All meals will be shelf-stable, with each box containing 5 'days' worth of meals (5 breakfasts and 5 lunches).
• How often can I receive meals? Each child can be given up to 2 boxes every 10 days.
• Who is allowed to pick up the meals? USDA requires that meals be picked up by the parent or guardian of the children.
Children do not need to be present for meal pickup. Meals can be provided for children 1 through 18 years of age. You can reach us at 405-279-1139 for any questions.

Players will be sleeping in the locker room. They will need to bring air mattress and bedding.
If you would like to donate snacks for the Pawhuska Camp please send them with your player to practice this coming week (May 15th-17th) or you can drop them off at the high school office (May 15th & 16th)
These items will not be able to be refrigerated or heated.

Super Kids Day was AMAZING!! A huge shout out to our PE teacher, Mrs. Lang! She hit this year’s SKD out of the park!! The games were fantastic and plentiful and organized extremely well! A FUN day was had by all!
Meeker Elementary is seeking to hire a Reading Specialist for the 2024-25 school. This will be a full time position. Candidates should be certified to teach elementary students. Classroom teaching experience at the elementary level, a Reading Specialist certification and/or additional training to teach reading skills is preferred. Duties will include working with the site administrator to manage site RSA requirements, working closely with classroom teachers to help provide high quality reading instruction and interventions, as well as working with students who are identified as struggling readers on a daily basis. Knowledge of teaching students with dyslexia and other learning struggles is preferred.
