Mr. Hargus' Generation Citizenship kids went to the state Capitol last week and gave a presentation about combating hunger in our schools. This group of freshman beat out juniors from all over the state to take home the collaberation and diversity award!

The Christmas Showcases for our Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade classes will be Wednesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 11th.
We are asking for a $1 admission from all guests. We use this money to help fund our art and music classes.

Meeker Elementary School is seeking to hire a dedicated, reliable, compassionate paraprofessional to join our Special Education Team. This person will support teachers and students in both academic and behavioral settings. Requirements include, but are not limited to, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one of the following: hold an associates degree or higher, or passed a state approved paraprofessional exam. The candidate must also pass a background check and meet all district/state requirements for employment.
This position includes some physical requirements also - must have: ability to routinely and continually bend, squat, stand, walk, and/or climb stairs, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, support up to 50 pounds, ability to do outside duties in inclement weather, and ability to support and stabilize students with physical disabilities.
