HS Basketball Homecoming week has been moved to the week of January 25-30. We will have our ceremony on January 30th. We will be making up the Chandler game that day with JV starting at 4:00. Homecoming will start at 5:45 and the Varsity Boys will play first beginning at 6:30.
There will be no Middle School Boys games at Holdenville January 11, Holdenville cancelled due to Covid. Girls are still on for here at Meeker 7-8-9 5:00 start.
Middle school basketball update:
There will be no MS boys or girls games Monday January 4. Okemah has cancelled due to Covid.
Buses will run early on Friday December 18th. They will run at 1:35 p.m. to bring the children home for Christmas break.
Meeker Public Schools is accepting applications for a MS custodian. This is a full time position with benefits and has a start date of December 21, 2020. Applications can be accessed through the school website at www.meeker.k12.ok.us under documents, support personnel application or can be picked up in person at the Superintendent’s office. We are sorry that there have been so many changes but unfortunately this will probably happen all year. With that said here is what is happening at the moment.
HS Girls/Boys-Both are in the Agra tournament again, the girls will play Agra this Thursday at 12:40. The Boys will play Wellston at 7:20. I will send out brackets when they get an official one to me.
MS Girls/Boys-All games are cancelled at both sites next Thursday December 17.

We are changing things up again. The Varsity girls will play Friday. We will play JV boys at 5:00, Varsity girls at 6:30, and Varsity boys at 8:00. Thanks
Due to quarantine our girls basketball team will not be playing JV or Varsity thru December 11. Boys will still play at McLoud tonight JV at 5:00, Varsity at 6:30. The live streaming will still be available through the NFHS link or Facebook live through the Meeker High School Basketball page.

Going to the Agra tournament December 10-12 will be our varsity boys team only.
Mcloud is going virtual next week therefore they are not allowing fans into the HS basketball games on Tuesday December 1.

UPDATE FOR FRIDAY NOV 20th.
Meeker High School will be going to distance learning on Friday, November 20, 2020. Please note this is just for FRIDAY the 20th and only the HIGH SCHOOL. Elementary and Middle School students will be traditional learning Friday Nov. 20th. Teachers will be communicating with their students about the expectations and assignments for Friday.
The High School will be returning to traditional learning after Thanksgiving break.
