Power is out at Meeker Public Schools so we are closed tomorrow. No school (no virtual) Thursday, Oct. 29th.
Due to the bad weather there will be no school Tuesday Oct 27.

The MS football game vs. Holdenville on 10-26-20 has been moved to 10-27-20, it will be a 7/8 grade combined game starting at 5:30.
High School Meeker Parents and Students:
Due to positive cases of COVID-19 in the high school, we will be going to Distance Learning next week (10/12-10/14) for the high school only. All students whether quarantined or distance learning will be required to check in with each teacher every hour. The teacher will post on their google classroom the zoom link. Please have your students check google classroom for each class for more detailed information.

SENIOR NIGHT UPDATE as of 10062020
We will be moving forward as planned for Saturday's Senior Night Activities for Senior Football Players and Senior Band members- Recognition will begin at 6pm.
Game at 7pm.
Cheer and cross country Seniors will be recognized at another time TBA.

HS FOOTBALL UPDATE
Friday’s Millwood game has been moved to Saturday.
Senior night will still begin at 6pm to recognize senior band and senior football players. The game will begin at 7pm and then Senior cheer and senior cross country will be recognized at halftime.
As you know this is a fluid time of year so be sure and check back often for additional information.
Monday's MS football game at Yukon has been moved to October 8th due to them having trouble finding officials. 2 games 6th/7th and 8th/9th combined starting at 5:30.

Due to a positive case of COVID-19 on the High School Football Team and the exposure of several players on the team, we will be canceling tonight's Football game. We are currently working with the Lincoln County Health Department with contact tracing during this investigation. If your student is having any COVID related symptoms please have them stay home and call the school. Thank you
Meeker Elementary PTO is selling Tshirts. The order form can be found under documents, shirt order forms.
Parking permits can now be purchases in the HS. Parking permits are required for all high school students who drive a vehicle to school.
The form can be found under documents, high school or can be picked up in the HS office.
Monday's MS football will be only one 8/9 combined game starting at 5:30.
Annual Title I Meeting
Meeker Public Schools will have a Title I Committee Meeting to review the Title I Plan, allocations and budget on Friday morning, September 25 at 7:45. Parents wanting to attend the meeting will be invited to attend virtually by way of Google Meets. If you wish to attend, please contact Judy Fletcher at 405-788-4540 ext. 101.

Annual Title I Program Information Meeker High School
-Provides federal funding to schools to help students who are low achieving or at most risk of falling behind
-Allocated to schools based on the percentage of students receiving free/reduced lunches
-Schools with a percentage of at least 40% are eligible for a schoolwide program
-School uses Title I funds to upgrade the entire educational program of the school
-Title I funds are used to serve all children in order to raise academic achievement
-Title I funds will be used to provide additional assistance to all students who experience difficulties in meeting state performance targets
-Students will be given benchmark exams at least twice a year
-District Title I Facilitator/Reading Specialist on staff
-Apex, IXL, Exact Path, and Reading Eggspress online educational programs -After school tutoring
